Axle work

This weekend I made time to work on my CJ.
I pressure washed my axles then I started on the rear and yesterday hit it with a wire wheel and put a coat of por 15 on it.

and today I did the same to the front and also another coat on the rear.

Finally I got the bright idea of having people come over and HELP me get my CJ appart, long story short my dad got sick and I don't have the strength to get the rusted bolts off so I called for backup! Big thanks to Bill for coming with his massive Jeep knowledge, Big thanks to Chris for bringing your truck and hauling my extra parts away, I cant wait to see your Jeep/Ford!. and thanks to Don for showing up and helping out.

August 9th I'm planning a big rip my CJ apart so I can work on it all winter party but for the party I thought it would be nice to get some presents for the CJ.

oh yea that's 4" of lift for my little CJ! don't worry I'm getting new boots so there will be no red showing.

I finished sanding the frame!!!!!!!! woot!!!!


ok so I'm not fully done but I got most of it done its good enough to clean and paint black!
I would have started cleaning it up but thats going to be a full weekend of cleaning and then painting so it is protected right away. Rust is evil!
